Description

Laboratory Desktop Bottom Heating Coater – Large Area Vacuum Coater with Micrometer Scraper

This Laboratory Desktop Bottom Heating Coater is a precision instrument designed for advanced thin film coating research and development. It is widely used for preparing ceramic thin films, battery material coatings, special nano films, and other high-performance thin film materials. The integrated bottom heating system enables temperature-controlled coating processes, adapting to future high-temperature film formation requirements.

Key Features & Benefits

Precision Coating Control
First, the micrometer-adjustable scraper allows users to set coating thickness with 0.01mm accuracy. It covers a range of 0.01 to 3.5mm, which makes it ideal for coatings thinner than 10 microns. Therefore, researchers can achieve consistent, repeatable results across multiple tests.

Efficient Substrate Handling
The vacuum aluminum plate measures 250mm by 150mm and provides strong, uniform adsorption. As a result, substrates stay firmly in place during coating, which prevents shifting and ensures edge-to-edge uniformity. If you need a different size, we offer custom dimensions upon request.

Integrated Vacuum System
This machine includes a built-in vacuum pump that delivers a vacuum degree of ≥ -84KPa. Consequently, operators can quickly place or remove materials without waiting for external pumps to engage.

Adjustable Coating Stroke
Users can modify the coating stroke via a simple switch. This feature accommodates various substrate lengths, so one machine handles multiple project requirements.

Top Heating for Controlled Drying
The integrated top heating system maintains temperatures up to 100°C, with a recommended operating range around 80°C. Because heat applies directly from above, solvents evaporate evenly, which reduces defects and improves film quality.

Optional Viscosity Monitoring
For the highest coating consistency, you can equip the coater with an optional viscosity meter. It locks in the ideal slurry viscosity before each run, thus maintaining smooth, defect-free coatings across every test.
