Description
Gelon supplies cylindrical lithium ion battery cases and empty cell cans for 18650, 21700, 26650 and 32650 cells. Designed for battery manufacturers and assembly lines, these empty cell cans feature nickel-plated A3 steel cases, PET insulating gaskets, nylon seal O-rings, and caps with built-in PTC thermistor protection. Safety valve designs help release internal pressure and support safe cell assembly.
Important note: This product is an empty battery case / cell can, not a finished lithium-ion cell. It is intended for qualified battery manufacturers and assembly processes.

PTC Thermistor and Safety Valve
The top cap can be supplied with a built-in PTC thermistor for overcurrent protection. The safety valve is designed to open when internal pressure exceeds the specified threshold, helping release pressure and improve safety during abnormal conditions.
Safety valve opening pressures by model:
- 18650: 2.5 MPa
- 21700: 1.8–2.4 MPa; valve opens above 2.4 MPa
- 26650: 2.8 MPa; valve opens above 2.8 MPa

An empty cell can is the metal case used to assemble a cylindrical lithium-ion cell. It is not a finished battery and does not contain electrodes, electrolyte, or active materials.
