The Cylinder Cell Grooving Machine is a precision pneumatic equipment designed for the grooving process of cylindrical lithium-ion batteries. It creates accurate grooves on battery cases made of steel or aluminum, which are essential for sealing and terminal placement. With interchangeable dies, this machine accommodates various cylindrical cell specifications, making it ideal for laboratory R&D and small-scale production.
Working Principle:
The machine uses removable rolling cutters driven by pneumatic high-pressure actuation. During operation:
- The appropriate grooving die is fastened in place based on the battery specification.
- The rolling cutter descends via pneumatic activation.
- The distance between left and right grooves is adjusted.
- After aligning the die with the battery case, screws are tightened.
- A test groove is performed to verify accuracy before normal operation begins.
