Safety Design: PTC Anti-Explosive Cap
The top cap is designed with a built-in PTC thermistor for overcurrent protection. The safety valve is set to open at approximately 2.5 MPa, releasing interior high pressure to help prevent the can from exploding. This safety design is important for cylindrical lithium battery cell manufacturing and quality control.
Materials and Workmanship
The case and cap are made of nickel-plated A3 steel, offering good mechanical strength and corrosion resistance. The seal O-ring and spacer are made of nylon, and the insulating gasket is made of PET. These materials are selected for cylindrical cell sealing, insulation and production stability.
