Planetary Ball Mill – Laboratory Grinder for Nano Powder & Battery Materials
The Planetary Ball Mill is a versatile and powerful laboratory grinding instrument designed for pulverizing, mixing, and homogenizing a wide range of materials down to nano-scale particle sizes. It is widely used in research institutions, universities, and industrial laboratories for processing battery materials, ceramics, minerals, chemicals, and other substances.
Working Principle:
The mill operates on a planetary motion principle. The grinding jars are arranged eccentrically on a rotating support disc (sun wheel). When the disc rotates, the jars also rotate around their own axes in the opposite direction. This complex motion generates high centrifugal forces that cause the grinding balls to impact and grind the sample material against the jar walls, achieving extremely fine particle sizes.

- Adjustable Speed: Revolution speed 0–290 rpm, rotation speed 0–580 rpm (frequency control 0–50Hz, resolution 1Hz).
- Flexible Timing: Run time 1–999 minutes, reverse time 1–290 minutes, interval time 1–999 minutes.
- Large Capacity Range: Interchangeable milling jars from 50 ml to 5000 ml to suit different batch sizes.
- Durable Construction: Robust design with inverter control for smooth operation.
- Long Operating Time: Maximum continuous working time 72 hours.
