Planetary Ball Mill – Laboratory Grinder for Nano Powder & Battery Materials

The Planetary Ball Mill is a versatile and powerful laboratory grinding instrument designed for pulverizing, mixing, and homogenizing a wide range of materials down to nano-scale particle sizes. It is widely used in research institutions, universities, and industrial laboratories for processing battery materials, ceramics, minerals, chemicals, and other substances.

Working Principle:

The mill operates on a planetary motion principle. The grinding jars are arranged eccentrically on a rotating support disc (sun wheel). When the disc rotates, the jars also rotate around their own axes in the opposite direction. This complex motion generates high centrifugal forces that cause the grinding balls to impact and grind the sample material against the jar walls, achieving extremely fine particle sizes.
